Mediterranean Forum 2016

MED FORUM 2016 represents a landmark movement to accelerate and scale-up the impact of intercultural action in the face of unprecedented regional challenges.

Built on a far-reaching programming process launched in Valletta on 4th March 2016 - involving intercultural experts, national civil society coordinators, youth sector leaders, policy-makers and international donors - the central gathering of MED FORUM took place from 23-26 October 2016 at the historic Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC).

This main encounter has been timed to take place on the eve of the first Maltese Presidency of the European Council, which has "Mediterranean Dialogue" as a central theme, with the commitment of the Maltese authorities and EU institutions to shape the regional cooperation agenda with youth and civil society-led initiative.
