General Information
Our work relates to advocacy/legal and social support/ material support to vulnerable groups (minorities, homeless, unemployed etc.). We also work on awareness raising on human rights issues. We cooperate with Greek (e.g Amnesty International, Greek Helsinki Monitor, MDM, Greek Council for Refugees etc.) and European NGOs (ECRE, PICUM, Danish Refugee Council, Dutch Refugee Council etc.)
Mission and Objectives

Our mission is to defend human rights and to help groups of people who are more vulnerable to violations of their rights. Our objectives are to improve the general human rights situation in Greece and to offer free assistance to vulnerable people.

Main Projects / Activities

SOLIDARITY: Material help to Greek people in need and to asylum seekers/refugees
AWARENESS RAISING ON RACISM: Project delivered at secondary education schools.
SUPPORT: Advocacy/Free legal and social aid to asylum seekers and refugees
EUROPEAN NETWORK FOR THE APPLICATION OF DUBLIN REGULATION: Participation to the network which follows legal developments on Dublin Regulation and assist asylum seekers in the Dublin procedure.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

We can contribute our experience in human rights issues (on advocacy for human rights, refugee issues,combat of racism (antiracist education to schools), solidarity activities for Greek people and refugees

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

We want to expand our cooperation with other Greek and Mediterranean organizations in order to strengthen our bonds, exchange information and deliver joint action and projects.
